haha.. okay. So you are probably wondering what the hell I am talking about with the title of this post. BUT...if you fallow me on facebook..you might already know.

This blog has been really fun to keep up on! I love blogging.... BUT, i have SOO many profiles...and websites to keep up on, I decided I wanted to consolidate all of them into one. Thats why me and my husband decided to create a website. My husband LOVES creating websites, so he was very excited to work with me on this.

With the website, we will be able to keep up on it SO much easier... which means I will be posting SO MUCH MORE!! There is an outfit of the week blog that will be updated once a week maybe more... a review blog that I will also update once a week... AND my personal blog where I will be talking about all things beauty and personal stuff!! ALSO... there is an awesome outfit maker that my husband made.. i dont know how he does this stuff!! There will be Tips, swatches, exclusive videos... pretty much everything you can imagine.. AND all in one spot so you dont have to fallow me in 100 different places! YAY

All I ask is for you guys to check it out... and if you like it, add it to your favorites so you can visit any time you want...and you can even create an account! there is still a little work to be done, but for the most part its completely up and running!!!

Carrie Bradshaw Bun

So I watched Sex and the City 2 last night.. and of course... I got incredibly inspired!! How can you not get inspired when you watch that movie. One part that I loved specifically was when Carrie was forcing Bigg to go out with her in NYC. She had the most beautiful elegant bun in her hair.. and I LOVED it!! I wanted to do an elegant spin off of that.... kind of a "Do it yourself version" considering she probably had 20 stylists working on her at once. haha. Anyway... what do you think.. is this something you want to see a vid on. I already filmed it.. but I would like your input before I edit!

My purchase from MAC Venomous Villains!

I know I know, I have put this off like you wouldn't believe. BUT... I also wanted to try the products out for a while so I could tell you guys what I think!! Lets just say the packaging wasn't AS BAD as I thought. It's alright... but I think they could have been more creative with it. :) As far as the product inside... LOVE it!!

You all know I am a huge fan of purple eye shadow! Its my go to color! This is the perfect purple because its bright enough to look purple when you apply it, but its still not over the top. Some purples you might notice havea more muted brown color when you apply. Although... One thing I dislike about the purple one is the blending quality. Its a little hard to blend... but if you work it its fine. I have noticed the Mattes by MAC are that way most of the time.

The white shadow however is amazing!!!! My new favorite Highlight.

I decided on the beauty powder in Briar Rose because I have never bought a beauty powder before. I have been hesitant because I have heard that they are very unpigmented usually. But I really truly LOVE this!! Its the perfect baby pink that doesn't have any peach tones that show through!! definitely a good purchase!

For the lip gloss....I like it....The color is great and perfect over any lipstick! I'm not sure what finish its in... I'm thinking lustre finish... Its a little on the sticky side... but I don't mind it too much.

Halloween- Forest Fairy

So I don't normally like to do this..... give hints as to what my next video is going to be. BUT I am really excited about this look and this video!! I wanted to do something really cheap. For the costume all I had to buy was the wings...the rest was all from my closet already! As for the make-up... all the products are very easy to find dupes for... especially if you have any 88 palette!! Tell me what you think. The video will be up tomorrow!

Meet my Doggie! Appa Honoo

So, If you follow me on twitter you know me and my husband got a dog. You also know I have never every in my life been a dog person... and was always SCARED of dogs. I remember my first dog was a black lab, and still a puppy, and I was scared to death of that thing. My parents finally had to get rid of him because I wouldn't go outside. I feel kinda bad now.... my brother could never have a dog because of me.... but you cant help your fears right?! haha. So when my husband said he REALLLLLLY wanted a dog, I was hesitant!! BUT being married you do have to compromise...and because it was important to him, I thought I would see how it worked!

So far so good. He is a good dog, not too hyper which i HATE!!! He doesn't jump up on your or anything. He is 2 years old and a Australian Shepherd and retriever mix. We named him Appa after the flying buffalo on "Avatar the Last Airbender"...and Honoo for this middle name which means "flame" in japanese! We tend to like Asian names... (hence our cats...Yuki Lapoof and Jubei Kibagami...lol) I just hope my cats get used to him. I love my cats more than anything in the whole world, and i really don't want them to be sad or scared. I have heard of cats getting on anti depressants... poor little things! One of my cats is doing OK, but the other one is scared to death. lol. :(

Kiss Kiss...Bang Bang....

UGH.... I was getting so freakin sick of my hair, so I randomly, and quickly decided to chop off my bangs. I am not the type to change my hair cut...so bangs and color is the only thing I do when I need a dramatic change. Plus, I cant part my hair down the middle unless I have bangs, and I love the look...so that was another reason. My husband asked me if I filmed a video on it, and I said no...and he said "uh, well that was stupid..." LOL... yes it was, but when I get the urge, sometimes I just have to go with it. Next time I cut them I will do a video :)

Forever 21 Fall Picks

First off is a good pair of tights...either plain black or a pair with a pattern, These are amazing in the fall underneath a pair of denim or black shorts...and booties or calf height boots!

You all know a statement necklace is my thing to spice up a plain outfit... this one is amazing and something I definitely have my eye on!

I LOVE this shirt!!!! I love the cut out on the shoulders!!! omg...WANT!!! I might make a tutorial on how to cut a t-shirt like this! ^_^

This is just awesome. I love the fall colors in this top!! At the same time, it still has that summer bohemian feel. Perfect top for thanksgiving dinner!! :)

Definitely a must have for this fall is a small satchel purse. I got my first one recently (a little late on this trend) and I LOVE them. They are super stylish and small so you don't have a sore shoulder at the end of a long day. haha

So cute. These are another statement piece that would make any simple outfit look more elegant and chic. Not only that... I looove the color of the gems!! so Fall-ish. haha

An infinity scarf is a great thing to have this fall as well. Especially for those days you just want to be comfy and warm!! I want one in bright scarlet red, and mustard yellow!

Feathers, feathers, feathers.... one of my biggest obsession this fall, especially in earrings!! so cute!

As alot of you have seen in most of my fashion vids... i like to rock my cropped motorcycle leather jacket! its perfect for high waisted skirts, and a cover up for almost anything. Definitely a must buy!

CLOGS!! love these! especially with the shorts with tights trend!!

a chunky sweater cardigan is another essential for those comfy cold fall days. skinny jeans, booties, and a statement necklace would be amazing with this.

CARGO SKINNIES! I have been looking everywhere for a good pair of these! I know Sears has a good pair too. :)

Booties are great too because they keep your feet warm!! I personally look for booties with a low heal that I can wear all day without sore feet!! Lace up booties are definitely an extra bonus! :P

Fall and Winter Boots

So, as most of you know... Boots are my go to shoe in the Fall and Winter. Its pretty much all I wear. The only thing I hate is finding the PERFECT pair! Here are 2 pairs that I have found this year that I'm beyond excited for! Check them out!! :)

Have you ever had a piece of clothing in your head...that you have pretty much designed yourself and something you are determined to find?? I used to do that with Prom dresses all the time. I would have a picture of this perfect dress in my mind...and if I didn't find it, I would be disappointed. (Most of the time I didn't find it..and would have to settle for something else. lol) Well...that's what happened with these boots. These boots are the perfect example of your "dream shoe" Something you were determined to find.. but don't know if they exist! Haha. They had the heel height, the tight ankle, the laces, the leather, the hooks, and the price.....everything i was looking for. and the best thing about it was..... they were at Rue 21 for about $30.00!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes! LOL.. I told my husband that even though we weren't going to buy anything we didn't "need" this month... these babies were an exception. lol.

Alright...so this next pair was from TJ Maxx. A client of mine told me that she found a great pair of boots there...so of course it tempted me to go check it out. Deep down I didn't think I would find a pair I liked... because last time I was there I didn't see any... but I thought I would give it a try. As I was browsing the shoes... there it was.... a lonely black boot calling my name. But there was only ONE!!! I couldn't find the partner! I looked all over the freakin shoe dept determined to find the match... it took me FOREVER, but I finally found it, and it was worth the hunt!! haha. They were on the expensive side.... $50.00 but they are amazing. they aren't too tall so I can wear them everyday and they are more fitted around the calf. I HATE boots that are too baggy around the calf area. They also have the little knit leg warmer coming out of the top! PERFECT!! I'm set for boots now. The only thing I am looking for now is a simple pair of flat brown ones.

So... the two places you all should check for boots this year are Rue 21 and TJ maxx. Good prices and CUTE!!!

Swap: Barry M and Sleek

So I just got done doing a swap with a friend of mine on YouTube/twitter (Joybunny24) She is the sweetest, and from England... So I got to receive alot of amazing things that we can't get in the US!! OMG, I was sooo stoked on getting these sleek palettes! She sent me the "Storm" and the "orignial" palettes! She also sent some Barry M pigments and a palette! yay!! I used to original palette today on my eyes, and I love it (see below). The colors are very pigmented, but a little powdery. I usually don't like powdery but these aren't as bad as others. They are still VERY blendable and usable!! :) What do you guys think...should i do a tutorial with them!? :)

Drugstore Dupe!!!!

As you all know, MAC's See Sheer Lipstick is my all time favorite! Its definitely my MOST worn lipstick...and I have been wearing it so much lately it was about time I stopped by the MAC counter to get another one. That was until today..when I was strolling through Target and I saw a bunch of makeup on clearence! I started going through the lip stick when I heard music from the heavens.... There it was...an exact dupe to MACs See Sheer lipstick!! (I love how dramatic i am... >_< lol)Anywho.... I was beyond excited, and even MORE excited when I realized it was 2.50! Holla!!!! lol. What lipstick is it you ask?? Maybelline Color sensational Lipstick in Park Ave Peach. And to be honest.. I MIGHT like this one a little more. The MAC one is a lustre finish which I like...but they don't seem to last a LONG time because they are so glossy. The maybelline one still has gloss, but its not AS much..so I feel like it has more staying power! But they are pretty much as close as you can get to "dupes"!

The thing I love about these colors is that you get the look of "red" lips without looking too over the top like you packed on the cherry red lipstick! it's seriously the perfect color ever!! Stop by your local drugstore and pick it up ASAP! you wont be dissapointed!

Shu Uemura Suprise

Let me just say, today was a good day...

I had an hour until my clients appointment today, so I decided randomly to stop by my local makeup store since I needed a new brush cleaner! Surprisingly I never make it in there because I know I will spend alot of money so I avoid it. :) lol. OR... its always closed when I am walking by. However, Today was my lucky day! I saw the Shu Uemura lash curler and told the lady to throw that in too. She told me that Shu Uemura was no longer going to be sold in the states, only other countries, and online... so she was getting rid of all of her testers for $5.00!! Tester Shmester!!! I almost had a heart attack considering these shadows are about 22.00 regular priced, so I knew there might be a little dent I'm my wallet after this discovery. After a while, she mentions that she is selling the brushes too.... for $10.00!! S.U. brushes are also very spendy.... some being 100.00! so I scored 2 of those! Then she threw in a free lip gloss just to be nice.

It was pretty much the best day ever.

Before I use them, I'm going to brush them off with a clean mascara wand. Luckilly eye shadows dont grow bacteria as much as other makeup. :)

Vemomous Villians!

OK so, I know I'm a little late on this..... BUT OMG, I have been doing research on this line for quite sometime and I'm just stoked beyond belief! haha. I am a Disney lover through thick and thin. I'm pretty much obsessed with all things Disneyland, and my favorite vacation spot IS Disneyland. When i found out they were doing this line, I knew i would buy alot from it! But I'm not too keen on the packaging I must say. To me it looks a kind of... little kiddish. lol. Something that you would see at walmart in the kids makeup section or something. I think they could have done something MUCH more creative and dark with the packaging..so I was a little disappointed about that. :( But the names are great, and so excited to see the actual colors in person.

I cant wait to see a Disney Princess collection in the future lol... who is with me on that? But lets up the packaging, and make it more GLAM! I can only imagine a pink blush in "loves me, loves me not" or a a shadow palette in "beauty and the crease" LOL just kidding... but seriously. ;)

A day in the life of Carah and Travis

I'm so sorry I have been so bad about updating my blog. I am hating my old small camera, and i think its taking worse and worse pictures by the day, so I hardly carry it with me anymore....and our Cannon Rebel is too big! But I PROMISE I will be better! :)

I thought this would be a fun post to do. Just a day in the life of me and Travis. Let me know what you think of this and if you would want to see something like this again?! Plus, its a fun little outfit of the day type of thing too if you want to look at it that way! haha.

We didn't really do much. We had the WHOLE day off, so we decided to check out some houses from the tour of homes in our city. We basically just wanted to see the over 1 million dollar houses... haha. here is the recap of our day!

This pic was taken at a little cafe for lunch. This was the first time we had ever been to this neighborhood...and we had NO IDEA it was like a little town of its own! We have been here for 2 years, so it was fun discovering a new place! Although the sammies were kinda gross... hahaha.

HAHA this is a random pic... but there was a bike race in the area that we had NO idea about, so we stopped to watch that a for a bit, and he snapped this random photo. Just me and my beloved Diet Pepsi.

LOL, ok...so this is so me and Travis. On the way to the first house we were touring we saw this amazing little Field of yellow daisies. being the random people we are we decided to stop for a pic. Yellow is one of my fave colors, so I couldn't pass up a pic in a Field of little yellow daisies.. i mean come on. LOL

LOL, this is a pic of us putting on out little booties before going into the million dollar house. ^_^

After the HOT day outside, we decided to stop my McDonald's for one of their new smoothies they just came out with. YUMMY!! definitely sop by sometimes, they are delish. And I am pretty sure they are pretty healthy for you too! :)

1 Year Married and OOTD

One of my best friends had her birthday this weekend, and she decided to do a murder mystery theme. Basically its just a game where everyone has their own parts and you have to try to figure out who the murderer is by asking people questions about their character, and trying to bribe people for information! I was actually really hard. But you had to stay in character all night! haha. I was Carrie Crooner Ravioli... and i was married to "Big" Jim Ravioli who was killed at the beginning of the night. haha. It was a blast! but i had the most fun dressing up, and doing the makeup! look out for a makeup tutorial on this look REALLY soon!

Platinum Blond Life...

Hey! so i know this might be a random blog post, but someone on formspring asked me what the craziest thing i have ever done to my hair was. I told them i bleached my bangs out to platinim blonde... and they were curious to see how it looked! So here are a few photos of that time in my life! I really liked how it looked! it was fun and different.. but it was ALOT of upkeep! Who knows... i might go back someday.. but as of now... i dont have the time to keep it up! haha. Hope you like!

OMG Free Product...

Okay, so... i just wanted to address this really quick because i know alot of people have questions about it, and i know some people DON'T like the idea all together. This blog is specifically for my YouTube subscribers and viewers. Being a beauty guru on YouTube comes with the territory of receiving free product... which is awesome, cool, and fun... I'm not going to lie. BUT... alot of people that watch beauty gurus on a regular basis sometimes feel like they are being lied to because they think...why NOT do a good review if you get a bunch of free stuff!

Okay... The answer to this is NO... i personally DON'T lie to any of you guys about the products i receive free of charge...and i DO 100% honest reviews. Yeah yeah... you hear this all the time. There isn't really any way to prove this i guess. But let me just say a few things.

I ALWAYS tell the company that contacted me that A. I review 100% honestly B. I will NOT do a review if i don't like your products AT ALL..and i will send the products back if requested. C. There might not be a video up for a while because i like to COMPLETELY test the product out and get a full idea of how i like it before i talk about it on my channel OR if i want to talk about it on my channel at all. and D. I always ask if they are willing to do giveaways or anything of that nature for my subbies!

Also, I say NO to WAYYYYY more companies than i say yes to...and i say no before i even get stuff sent!! If People send me products i dont like i tell them i don't like them and i don't want to do the review... even though i feel bad sometimes. haha. I would never sell something like multi-colored hair extensions or acne cream to you guys because for 1 i would NEVER wear multi-colored extensions in my hair... and i don't struggle with acne. ha ha. I think you get the picture!! :)

So i just wanted to mention those few things... just to clear up any questions or concerns. You guys mean ALOT to me, and i would never lie to you... just to get free stuff. Free stuff really isn't that important to me! But i think its cool for you guys to learn about new cool products that i like... that YOU might like too!! That's what the beauty community is for right??

Hey ladies!! So i started this blog to not only talk about Beauty and fashion... but to also talk about my life... and other aspects of it!! So I hope you dont mind these random posts! haha. As some of you know... if you have fallowed my blog for a while... know i LOVE art journaling. Its just a fun way for us creative artistic people to do art on a very low pressure scale. So I decided I would treat my blog readers to a special little haul blog because I wanted to show you how much I appriciate your support on my blog!! Has anyone else tried these products?? Thanks for reading beautifuls!

Okay, so the other day I was walking through Wally World (walmart) and I decided I wanted to give myself a mani... but I was sick of all the colors I had. SO... I decided to purchase some cheap polishes just for fun. These were the two I picked out and im obsessed!! they were $2.00s and I am in love. Its the Brand ICE in "spit fire" and "risk taker" I put the glittery spit fire over the top of risk taker and its beyond amazing... its my new fave combo!!!

I got one of the new maybelline eyestudio liners in purple because i LOVE purple eye makeup! it compliments almost any skintone!! the only thing im a little usnure about is the darkness. i havent used it on my eyes yet... but it will be interesting. I will let you know how I like it.

Not alot of people know... but I did buy 2 things from the MAC to the beach collection. I didnt haul it because...like i said it was 2 things. haha. But I was very excited about this line. They only thing i hate is the packaging.. i was a liitle bit dissapointed seeing the baby poop green containers... but I love the colors inside! haha. I got the blush in hipness and the lipstick in Thrills. My husband was obsessing over the lipstick. I wore it outside, and he said it looked like a sunset on my lips... it has alot of gold reflux! i love it!

This lipstick has been mentioned on Youtube multiple times... with great things said... so I had to pick it up!! Im not usually a nude lipstick wearer... but this is great because its a cool toned nude, and looks great with any lip gloss over the top. And like everyone knows... i LOVE Revlon lippies.... couldnt be more in love!

So i found these amazing shoes at Target for about $25.00 I think. I saw them about 2 weeks back tried them on and wanted them but passed because they were a little bit uncomfortable next to the pinky toe... but I went back 2 weeks later, and tried on an 8 1/2 which is one size bigger than what I usually wear.. and they were so much better and fit perfectly!! :) they had them in black too!! love them!!

What I am Thankful for today.

This might sound a little strange.. but sometimes when I'm feeling down...or im just plain bored... i will pick up my journal..or art journal (scan old blog posts for pics of my art journal) and write down 10 things that I was thankful for that day. It really picks me up, makes me feel happy..and really puts into perspective things that i have, and makes me realize how lucky I am. Thought I would do this quickly while i wait for my yummy dinner to cook... haha

I'm thankful for...

1. My giving father who suprised me with a set of patio chairs. He is the best!
2. The fact that ALL my colors turned out great today, and my clients left happy!
3. waking up sick..but it NOT lasting all day!!
4. having 1 more yogurt in the fridge for breakfast this morning.. i was craving it!
5. having 3 clients today!!
6. getting to have lunch with my mom at Typhoon!! delish!
7. my mom getting lucky and moving her car RIGHT as the lady walked by to give her a ticket!!
8. My husband... seeing him after work makes me happy!
9. My baby kitty Jubei who woke me up this morning with his cuddlyness.. he does it every morning when my hubby leaves for work... its the cutest thing ever.
10. getting 50 new subscribers today! I love every single one!!!

Fabulous Find: NUDE PUMPS!

I was so excited when i saw these at fred meyer!! They were 30.00 but 50% off so i got them for 15.00!! I have been looking for some nude pumps for a long time... but you know me, i refuse to pay top dollar for anything so this was a score. The nice thing about these is they are low! Dont get me wrong i love platforms..but i work on my feet all day and these are the most comfortable shoes EVER!! and the are nice and rounded on the toe... As alot of you know... I'm a HUGE fan of Revlon lipsticks!! I looove them. The formula is great, they don't dry out your lips, AND they dont break or bend backwards into the container...(which I have noticed with lipsticks like the MAC creamsheens and NYC lipsticks). They are also very affordable. I believe they are around $6.00. I bought these 3 today, and I'm in love with every color!!! Definitely colors I will wear frequently. They are all super natural, and colors that don't over power any makeup look!! :)

Being Quiet!

I don't know about anyone else... but WHY is it that being a "quiet" person such a bad thing?? I have always been a quiet person. Naturally i am just on the shy side, and I am a listener rather than a talker. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with that at all. But for some reason its a big deal to everyone else. Its always been a huge annoyance...or "pet peeve" for me. I hate hearing... "Carah, why are you so quiet!" "Jeez Carah, are you bored?" or "That's the most I have heard Carah talk in a long time!"... Seriously... SO annoying. I'm NOT a crazy center of attention..please-listen-to-my-amazing-story type of person. You would never say to someone... "Jeez, why are you so loud and obnoxious" or "wow, that's the first time you have shut up in a long time!!"

I guess that's why shy people think they have such a personality flaw. I have always felt dumb for being quiet.. because people make such a big deal out of it. I LOVE having conversations, and i like talking to people. But when I'm in HUGE groups... i sit back, and observe my surroundings... I DON'T understand what is wrong with that.

I don't know, maybe it makes people feel uncomfortable. I am NOT judgemental AT ALL... i would consider myself the least judgemental person I know. Maybe its because i hate being judged myself. I'm not really sure.

I guess I'm just tired of feeling judged for being the person that I am. I AM judged because people say things about it all the time. This has always been an issue that has bugged the crap out of me.... ALWAYS. Even other quiet people call me quiet. What is the big freakin deal. I always open up to people that i feel comfortable around and i talk alot and make a fool out of myself! lol. Maybe the reason I don't open up to you is because I DON'T feel comfortable around you! We could always take you into consideration... maybe YOUR personality doesn't do anything for ME. but I'm not sitting here judging you about it.

I guess i just needed to vent. let me know if anyone knows how i feel... i am sure more people feel this way than i think.

This is a creamsheen in Cream Cup. Its actually MUCH pinker on your lips than it looks! It suprised me...in a good way! ^_^

I went on a TINY mac binge today... nothing too big... but I had an odd yet very intense urge to buy mac today...and i had to fullfill that urge. So I went and picked up some AMAZING spring things which im totally pumped about!! YAY! Like I said in a few of my videos... my new obsession for spring is pink lips!! So I couldn't pass up a creamy pink lipstick...beautiful!! But for some reason it didn't really stop the urge. I want to go back tomorrow. haha. But I wont.... from now on.. I am allowing myself 3 MAC products a month... period. I think that sounds fair!! what do you think??

Do what you LOVE

If I could give one piece of advice to every single person on the planet... it would be to do what you love..even if you don't make any money. I have done so many things in my life... because I loved it...and I didn't care about money....and it always got me somewhere. When I was young I never really pictured myself as the "go getter" type. But as I have gotten older, I have definitely grown into that person (which suprises me alot actually!!) Whenever I want to do something... I do it. Not for any reason but because I love it and I want to do it. For example. When I lived in Portland.. I decided I want to be a free lance makeup artist. I researched the best way to go about it, and did it. I didn't get paid a penny when I started.. but that didn't matter, because it was a hobby and I enjoyed doing it on my spare time. Eventually, as my portfolio grew, and my network started to grow... I found myself in paying positions doing makeup for all sorts of things!! Who knew!!

Art was the same thing for me. I loved doing it and didn't really care if I made money. But one day I decided I wanted to have an art show. So what did I do?? did the research and had one... then another one. I was so overjoyed with the fact that I got an art show, I didn't really care whether I got paid. But before I knew it, my art was out there, and people were paying me to paint pictures of their kids or for their kids, and I was selling at LEAST 1 piece a month!! again... who knew!

That's what brings me to YouTube. After watching a few videos here and there of makeup and fashion.. I was like... I can do that!! and decided... what the hell... I will!! :) I didn't care what anyone else thought...I just went for it. I didn't even know you could make money.. but it was SO enjoyable to me. it was seriously a hobby that I loved. I enjoyed meeting new people, and helping other girls out with anything beauty and fashion related! After making videos for a while I realized I could make it into a business... and that's what happened!! Now look at me, I'm making money for doing what I LOVE...and doing something that I would do even if I didnt make money!!!

I guess what I'm trying to say is... don't WORRY about money. Don't worry about only doing things that will make you alot of it. Do things because you love to do them. Do things that you would do whether you would get paid or not!! I have had so many experiences where everything works out... even if I never would have thought they would!! Also... don't be afraid to go out there and reach for your dreams. Do research.. ask people questions.. and you never know.. you might meet the right person and the right time that could make things happen for you!! It has for me in many different areas of my life and I couldn't be more thankful!!

Now, all I want to do is help others with their dreams. If I could give everyone a shoutout on Youtube I would ( but I cant... >_<) DONT worry about what others might think of you. Work hard at things you love..and do them FOR YOU.. don't not do them for your mom and dad, friends and family. Thats not a way to live life. :)

Eye Primer Test!!

HEY LADIES!! so as you all know, Palladio Cosmetics and I have been working together... and they sent me over some eye primer to try. I was super excited because you all know how in love i am with primers and bases!! lol As you can see from the picture above... its FANTASTIC. You cant even tell the difference between the urban decay primer potion... and the Palladio Primer!!

The Palladio Primer is actually alot silkier than the urban decay primer potion (udpp) It almost has the consistency similar to too faced shadow insurance! its VERY easy to blend... and it doesn't feel like you are stretching your eye too much when you do so!! I feel like the udpp has a consistency more of concealer, and the Palladio primer has the consistency of a face primer! The only downside is that it is much smaller than the UDPP. I think you should definitely give it a try! Also the Palladio brand is MUCH cheaper that Urban decay... so its great for a girl on a budget!

Portland trip with my BOO!!! :)

Just wanted to post a few photos of me and Travis in Portland this weekend. We brought out new camera and experimented with the lighting and stuff!! We went out to our favorite fancy restaurant called Portland City Grill. Its on the 30th floor of the highest building in Portland, and we sat right by the window!! We love it there! We also went to a Blazer game on Sunday night! It was a blast!! We won, and it was an AWESOME game...they played SO well! :) And Brandon Roy is pretty hot too. ha ha. :)

I love Joshua's art because its so free and dynamic. He has a way of making a smudge of paint and turning it into an eye. There is also somewhat of a Gothic feel to his work... but he still manages to use ALOT of color. I also love that is colors aren't used in normal ways. He uses hot pink and neon yellows through out a face..and somehow it still looks like a face!! You don't see work like his often... and that's why I think its so amazing!!

Audrey is...without a doubt in my mind...my ALL TIME FAVORITE artist. Her work is beyond inspirational and beyond amazing. She has her own style...that is SO haunting and dark.... but still so girly. The way her characters are so stylized... but still so realistic is beyond me. I think her work is amazing. I would give anything to have a giant piece of her work in my house. I would just stare at it all day. haha

Graffiti has ALWAYS intrigued me. For some reason when i went to Barcelona Spain... the Graffiti had more of an effect on my that most other things that probably should have! haha. I love the colors, and the illustration feel of it. Blaine Fonata has that graffiti street style in his art, but its also very professional...and you don't see anything like it. Me and my husband were actually going to try to recreate a piece for a house... but i don't think its possible. He just has a way about his work that can be duplicated!

Bronze wing and green for spring... :)

This is a new look for me because I used a bronze, burgudy eye liner on top...and you all know I LOVE black eyeliner and black smokey shadow. :) This is a very pretty look especially if you are wearing brown tones that day. I also LOVE the green underneath the eye. It brings out the red in the eyeliner. :) Is this a look you guys would use? What is a look you would like to see from me in the future. I definitly want to do a very dark smokey eye soon. I did have one up, but due to the copyrights...I had to take them down! :(

Other than that, I am planning alot of great videos, and tutorials. I would like to get more hair tutorials up to.

I am so beyond frustrated and sad right now!

This isnt going to seem like a big deal to some of you... but i feel so MAD, SAD, PISSED...and anything else in that category of emotions. I tried and TRIED to get an answer on whether or not i could keep my videos with like 10 seconds of music at the beginning of my videos....an NO ONE would give me a straight answer. I got to the point where I HAD to delete them...and I am super sad about it. Us video bloggers put so much work and effort into making good videos... and its truely paining to take them down for a stupid reason like that. Some of them were my favorite videos...and the fact that i will either have to make them again... or re-upload them makes me SOOO MAD! I also didnt want to let all of my subscribers down either. Its frustrating when gurus you really like take their vids down... (I know one inparticular...and its dissapointing because i LOVE watching them). I cant imagine how Fafinttex3 (Audrey) feels getting her account hacked and all of her videos be deleted. Its really is devistating. I might be acting a little over dramatic here... but oh well. Im just venting!

I just want to thank you all for being understanding, and sticking by me and watching my vids! I promise more NEW and GREAT ones will be coming soon.... you wont even miss the old ones! ;) PLEASE let me know if there are any in particular that you are missing...and i will re-upload those ones first... or remake them. I got a blending brush and a flat shader brush! I LOVE the flat shader brush!! It is great for pressing colors on your lid over a base to give you a VERY vivid bright color!! The blending brush is great too. Its definitly more of a stiffer blending brush which is nice sometimes...but I tend to go toward the limper blending brushes...but they are both SUPER soft!!

You guys all know how big of a fan I am of Powder foundations..and I have been wanting to try Palladio's out FOREVER! great product, and great coverage!! Although I'm not a fan of the packaging and the brush inside is low quality. I set this foundation with my mineral veil from Bare minerals!

I love this Palladio blush bronzing compact. its SOOO similar to one of my other favorite products! the Victoria Secret mosaic blush. Although the Palladio one is slightly less sparkly. Still LOVING it though!!

Palladio lips stain!! If you guys remember in one of my makeup tutorials...I mentioned that I liked having I light color underneath of a nude gloss to give my nude lips a slight bit of pink... Just so I don't look dead. Well this is GREAT because it's a light pink stain!! I put my nude gloss over the top and it gives a little color to the nude lip. I LOVE green looks, and it brings out brown eyes SO well! I'm a little frustrated though...I'm working on trying to get my lighting better...and its just not perfect yet! Once I post the video, let me know what you guys think of the lighting, or if I should change it up a little bit!

Shopping without spending!

Most of you know...I'm almost done with my month free of shopping!! (Feb 12th). But I still cant keep myself off the forever 21 website...and putting things in my cart that I "want" but cant buy! ha ha. Does anyone else do this, or is it just me?? Its like shopping..with out the actual spending! ha ha. These are a few things that are sitting there...haunting me...and TEMPTING me.

As far as not shopping... here is a little update. As you all know...it's difficult! It's weird not being able to just purchase something you want...or should I say purchasing 6 things you want. You all know I have bought a few things here and there..that I NEEDED (I really did.) But its actually nice buying something that you need and being like "wow,I don't feel guilty at all buying this because I actually need it"...and I haven't gone out and purchased 16 other things similar that I just kind of want! Its also nice being able to really decide if I REALLY want something that I wont be able to find just anywhere. Rather than things that I think are cute...that I just kinda want...just to buy something. its really refreshing...and I'm loving it! I think as soon as Feb 12th comes around...I'm not going to go on a full out shopping binge.. but I might purchase a few things. As for saving, it does feel good. and buying things I not only want.. but I NEED feels so much less heavy on my shoulders.

Shopping oh shopping...

Seriously... this has been the most difficult time to decide not to shop for a month, but I guess its testing me.... and I want to prove to myself I can do it. I just found out my hubby is going to be gone for 4 weeks instead of 3...and I seriously just want to cry!! (it's only the fourth day..and this whole time I thought it was 3 weeks). I'm just upset, and when I get upset and bored I want to do the one thing that makes me happy..and that is shop. I don't know why that is and I don't know why I feel the need to. Its weird. When I lived in Portland, I lived literally 5 minutes from the mall...walking distance. my apartment complex was named after the mall...it was ridiculous. I guess I just got in the habit of shopping when bored. Whenever I had nothing to do, or had a break in my day, I would just walk over to the mall in 5 seconds and shop. Whether it be "window shop"....it would always end up in a purchase. Since I moved to my new city...I think my habit has fallowed. TJ maxx and Ross are super close, and whenever I have nothing to do that's where I go...because thats what I always did before!! I don't think its a compulsive shopping disorder by any means... I just think its a horrible habit that I have developed and it's hard to ignore!! It gets my mind off things...it's a passion so it makes me happy... I can focus my attention on that for a couple hours and I'm happy. That is until I spend $100.00 and realize "shit, there goes a half days work! "

Now that my hubby is gone, I have all this free time. I haven't shopped for ANY UNNECESSARY items....which is great....but I'm so temped its not even funny. Its like I almost pull into the TJmaxx parking lot without even thinking "oh wait...im not supposed to spend any money right now". I'm at this weird point though...where I want to control it... and I want to save money!! Its not that I'm broke by any means...but people do get broke...and buying unnecessary things will get you there.

I think more than anything I'm just frustrated with my hubby being gone...and I want to make myself happy with my favorite thing!! does anyone else ever feel this way??

Whats with me and shoes lately!

So, as some of you may have noticed...I'm a little bit shoe obsessed. I haven't always been like that though. For some reason when I'm putting together an outfit, shoes are the hardest thing for me to choose. I always feel like my shoes don't match my outfit, and I have no clue why. So with that said...I guess I have learned that...the more shoes you have, the more likely you will have shoes to match your outfit! Am I right?!? ha ha.

So...these two pairs of shoes have been HAUNTING me on http://www.forever21.com/ and I have been obsessing over them forever. I know I don't need them. I don't even wear high heels that often. I'm on my feet at work all day..so the last thing I want to do is wear 4 inch heels.... BUT I FREAKING want these shoes. ha ha.

So as some of you know..I told myself I wasn't going to buy anymore clothes or makeup until feb 12th. Well...I have done GREAT! Except for the fact that http://www.gojane.com/ is having a boot sale and my other black boots are completely like falling apart. SO, I totally justified it and bought some, which I think makes sense..especially cause my other ones are shot! RIGHT??? So these are the boots I ordered...and I totally could have bought like 3 other pairs...but I didn't because I told myself NO. So give me some props! ha ha. They were only $21.00...that is so freakin cheap!!! Some were only 18-19.00!! seriously! I know...NOW you can give me some serious props for not buying anymore! ha ha

I also had to buy some eyelashes at the store for a makeup look for a vid....which is also a perfectly good reason. :) Other than that, I have controlled myself, and haven't bought anything!

Any who...let me know how you like those boots. They also came in a deep dark chocolate brown..which were amazing. A dark grey...which were also hot! and a light orange brown. I had a hard time choosing..but again... I needed new back ones.

ELF is finally here!!!

I just realized there is a whole layer in here that you cant see. I didn't pull the sides out completely. There is a great bronzer and blush...and eye brow shade!! you will see it in the vid!

This eye lid primer rocks...it reminds me alot of UDPP.

These are the bases that i absoluty LOVE!! Im a base fanatic!

FINALLY! My ELF order came in after like 2 1/2 weeks!! So frustrating when you have to wait that long! but it was worth it, because I got some great stuff, and the free gift was awesome! Watch mu haul video on my YouTube to find out how you COULD get a free gift too!! The colors are fantastic, and very pigmented, and they are shades that I would wear everyday, so i was super happy about that!! I also got some more makeup in from Palladio Beauty Group...which I LOVE. There is one product specifically that I am dying for....and I know for a fact I will order it again! I will post a video and blog post about those products as well. I have a great tutorial in mind for that! YAY!

Other than that...I have a lonely couple weeks coming up. Actually make that 3 weeks! My husband has to travel to 3 different cities around the US for work...and its seriously 3 weeks straight! The longest we have ever been apart is like 2 weeks, and that was at the VERY beginning of relationship, so that doesn't really count! ha ha. But I'm going to miss him so much, and I get SUPER scared about his plane trips! I always psyche myself out and think he is going to get in a plane crash. I have always been like that. :( All I know is he is going to make a lot of $$ while he is gone, and I promised myself I wouldn't buy any clothes or makeup for a month...so maybe we can save a little bit this month! ha ha.

That's about it girlie's!! Sorry the lack of vids. I have been trying my hardest to get my HD camera to work with different editing programs and I CANT figure it out!! Not to mention...my computer died, so I have been using my hubby's...and ALL my software was on mine. NOT COOL. But I figured out what to do...so there should be a vid up by tomorrow!

Girls Trip....and favorite people!

I think one of my favorite things to do is head up to portland and stay a couple nights with my cousin and mom. Me and my cousin are like sisters! Literally.... she is the 1 person I can tell absolutly ANYTHING to...and she will never judge me! we have so much fun together. My mom is the same way. (She is in the first pic) We talk on the phone 2 or even 3 times day! haha. I know sounds crazy, but I love it!

Obviously most of you watch my videos, and already know what i bought at TJs recently but I thought it might be nice to see each item individually. :) I was in dire need of some shopping, and TJ maxx always does it for me because its CHEAP so I don't feel guilty afterwards!

I'm going to do a video soon on some of my favorite fashion websites i like to visit. I have them in my Internet favorites..and they are places that inspire me and give me great ideas for fashion!! I will also post a blog with some pics and the websites. I will also put my favorite online shopping websites too for you guys! :)

Like I said in my video... I will be going to Portland this weekend. We are going to watch a blazer game, and do some shopping! so excited!! :) So you will probably see ANOTHER fashion video soon! So...I got to thinking about my new years resolutions...and well...none of them really are THAT fun to do. I mean yeah, I want to do them, but I decided to make a resolution for ME that will be enjoyable!

Before I really got into the beauty guru community on YouTube, I was VERY into the art journaling community!! I used to art journal 2-3 pages a day, and LOVED it. Its sooo therapeutic, and so fun to look back on later! Plus it gives me practice for my own art! Art journaling is basically taking any old sketch book, notebook, novel, leather bound journal or ANYTHING for that matter and filling it up with artwork! weather it be sketches with paint, markers and crayons, pencil....stamps, writing, and cut-outs! (anything imaginable really!) and the fun thing about it is that you can make the WORST art imaginable and its OK. Its your book...no one has to see it.... you can be as creatively psycho as you want!! Since I moved into my new house, I have lost my "art area" and so whenever I want to art journal I have to get EVERYTHING out which makes it frustrating. so from now on...in our back spare bedroom i will have my art area. When I need to clean it up I will, and I will leave every ting out when I don't! If you are interested in art journaling check it out on YouTube! Or comment me with any questions!

Me and my hubby are going out with some friends tonight. we all rented a house and are just going to chill tonight and go snowboarding tomorrow!! should be a good time! I'm excited for the new year...lets hope this one doesn't go by as fast as 2009!!! Seriously, it just flew by!! I was trying to think of some new years resolutions, and this is what i came up with!

--EAT and STAY healthy. I don't want to lose weight just put healthier things into my body. and exercise more....when i can (I'm not going to make some ridiculous goal like "work out 3 times a week...because i KNOW that wont happen! haha)

--Pass out more business cards. Even if i feel stupid sometimes...I will do it anyways!

--That leads to...build a larger clientele! Now that I have switched salons, I have to work on this again!! its alot of work...I have an amount of $$ in my head that I want to make every month... so that is my goal!

that's about it. those are things I really do think iIcan do. I hate when I make really unrealistic goals for myself that wont happen.

I wouldn't say I'm the best at keeping my new years resolution though. I should just make a resolution NOT to make a resolution! but that would mean i didn't meet my resolution because i made one...and that would defeat the whole purpose, and again...I would be a failure! haha...deep!

snowMOboarding....

If you fallow my twitter you all know I went snowboarding today!! It was my first time ever on a mountain, and I have pretty much lived next door to one my whole life. Sad I know. It was alot of fun, but OMG my bum is SO freakin sore! I got it down pretty quickly, but as soon as I started to go fast I would get scared because I knew I would either crash....or kind of slow down then crash...so either way it would hurt. I need to get more confidence, especially in the slowing down, stopping, and turning department. LOL. Also, getting of the ski lifts was terrifying! I didn't know what to expect, and the first time I crashed so freakin hard, and I think that's why my tail bone hurts so bad! after that first fall off the lift i was scared every time, but I started to get it at the end, and I didn't even crash when I would get off! Snowboarding is definitely one of those confidence sports... where if you have any hesitation you will probably fall... you cant half ass it, you have to commit to any move you do. Whenever I try something new, I always want to be the best at it right away...and I get frustrated when I'm not. ugh.... poor husband...he was a good teacher though...not ONE fight! haha

I WILL get better, I just need practice....and a nice bath and massage! haha. Oh well, at least I had stylish gear and looked likeI knew what I was doing right? :-P

Christmas Goodies

First of all I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

Christmas has come and gone SO fast this year, its just crazy to me!! I feel like I didn't get to do half the things i usually do this time of year! Part of it is because my grandma had a HUGE surgery 2 days before x-mas, which was a major stress on all of us! She gets to go home tomorrow!!! We pretty much couldn't focus on anything but getting her into and out of the hospital healthy and happy!

Any who... I decided to post a blog about some makeup/fashion related things I got for Christmas this year! I have such a wonderful family and wonderful husband, and I feel blessed every single day! Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday, I just love spending it with everyone I love. I cant believe it has passed already!

Me and my husband watched Avatar yesterday!!! SO amazing! best movie i have seen in a VERY long time!! Actually my husbands favorite movie is Gladiator, and he said Avatar is right there along with it...He might have even liked it better! It was so artistic, and the story was amazing! OOTD and blogging

Just wanted to do a little update on my outfit of the day! :) i will still do them on YouTube, but here and there i will also do them on here! :) I like this outfit, it was SUPER comfy, by made me look a little bit boxy and wider than i actually am! ha ha. oh well... :-P

Its been a very slow day today. I don't mind a slow day here and there...but switching salons recently, I have been waiting for my clients to make the switch. Also, being that I have never leased a station at a salon, its very new for me. I have only been living in this city for a little over a year, so I'm still building my clientele. Its always hard starting out in a new place...but it will be worth it soon! Although, soon I will be doing some free lance make up for a little makeup store called Dulce vita (similar to a small version of sephora)! Which makes me SO happy! i have always loved makeup...and living in Portland, i worked on so many different sets and runway shows, so moving here I had to give that part of me up. So hopefully that falls together, and things go smoothly there!

Other than that, I have been x-mas shopping my booty off! I'm finally done!! YAY! I'm so excited for Christmas...i just love buying things for people....sometimes i go a little over board on people. ha ha.

So you guys are probably wondering why a uploaded a pic of Stephanie Pratt! well....its not because of her...its because of her AMAZING shoes! i want them SO bad, but i cant figure out what brand they are. they look like converse, but they AREN'T...trust me, i e-mailed the company and everything. If anyone has a clue...please let me know! i saw Ellen page wearing a pair as well...but they were black! I'm praying they are at least reasonably priced and not hella $$! because i want them! :)

i posted a new make up look on my blog today! its a golden Christmas look...however...in this photo it looks golden orange...which is weird, cause it didn't look like that in person. either way though, its Gorg!

I'm going to upload a new years smoky eye video soon...so look out for that. i actually have a few good video ideas, but i want to wait until after x-mas because i know I'm getting some things that i will need to make them! my makeup tutorials are going to be so much better! Not only that...my husband MADE me open my x-mas present early saying "YOU HAVE to open it before x-mas...you are going to need it...its for snowboarding!!" and all these other untrue things. he is so bad, he can NEVER wait until x-mas...he gets SO excited. First Post!!

Hey guys!! i just wanted to start this blog to share things that you might not get on youtube!! i get a lot of questions about my life, so i thought this would be the place to answer them!! Also, i just wanted to thank all my youtube subs.... you guys definatly make youtube what it is, and i love going on there and seeing all your sweet comments! thanks for all the love! i do this for you!

Besides all that.... The holidays are going great so far! i wanted to share some pics with you guys of my thanksgiving and....x-mas tree! haha. This is my first x-mas tree i have ever had on my own. Well...i used to have this fake palm tree that i used to decorate, but this is my first actual tree. Its fake though...haha...but hey, it will be cheaper in the long run, and its SOOOO easy to pack up and put away!!!
